a list of things

we had a marvelous weekend with absolutely no wedding plannign whatsoever
we went, with some members of our tribe, to Angel Island and camped. We got there around 1 on saturday .. ate a bunch, drank some wine, talked and laughed, giggle with baby skye (makes me feel hopeful about camping with our baby when we have one!) who is 3.5 months. we went on hikes and got lots of sun.
We had a little simple ceremony in the dark in honor of skye and i approve of any ceremony that ends with the hokey pokey. a little skye above and below.
she was such a good little girl!
mm burgers and cheese and wine and hot tea and s'mores
sun on my face, some of my favorite chosen family, a tent with my boy. and after the boat back, brunch at sam's on the water. (mmm bbq'd oysters and a grilled artichoke and margaritas)
and now A is back from italy and i have a jar of what looks like a biology expirement but is in fact a jar of truffles. and a lovely sun charm of green amber. and she looks tan and happy.

i just have to say.
1. i'm probably going to move my blog someday.
2. i'm so baby crazy it's insane.
3. i'm gonna be married in less than 2 months. and in 2 months i'll be in italy
4. that is all
