frazzled and stupid but so what

god it's been crazy at work for the past week and a bit.

partly maybe because bossman now sits next to me

but also because i have billable projects for the first time inawhile, as opposed to skills development projects. so timelines! ack timelines! and some of the stuff is ...yea i admit it...maybe kicking my ass a tiny bit.

so twice in a week i've felt stupid and i'm not a big fan of feeling stupid

just sayin.

but it was a great weekend.. although friday feels like it was a week ago and it's only 2:30 on monday.

there was a matt the electrician and asylum streetspankers show which pretty much was awesome. and then there was breakfast with matt and monk. a pub crawl across the bay in salt spray and sun and salt rimmed glasses. and slightly sloshy boy and girl cabbing it home. the night in the WC and a day of scrabble and running since my 1/2 marathon is in less than two months (or just over a month to be most accurate) and dinner at the amesters. (i don't think she'll like that nickname) and it all wrapped up on an awesome six feet under episode.

i didn't feel frazzled til this morning. so i think it was a good hanging-out kinda weekend. and i just feel frazzled because i have to be here doing this stupid-inducing stuff.

dinner with my parents tonight. i guess i'll run again on thursday.

maybe i can try to get up in the *morning* some day this week and run.

hahaha yea right.
