ash and lava

i had a volcano-heart. erupting and smoking. hot and loud.

and then the ash blew all around and settled down and obsidian shards were sharp.

and then. it lay dormant.

and now. it's split.

my volcano-heart has caverns and a smaller newer smoking space is growing, while the other in ash is stil smoldering. still holding a liquid-heat-for-the-past.

but the new fiesty core. it is growing.

i have lava to spare. and ash on the tongue.
