kids are great

have you ever noticed that newly in love people are really boring?

i am not saying this disparaginly. i know i've been boring. can be boring and will be boring again.

but have you noticed? there's a lot of repetition in "I LOVE HIM/HER"

and today i worked with kids for the first time. tutoring , on personal essays.

the gem is the little girl in my group who wants to be a pastry chef because she likes to eat. and she wants to mix ingredients like a mad scientist with lightning going off around her. her chef outfit will be lavender and her hat will be shaped like a cheesecake.

i love her.
