the weekend

hi i'm home and i have been sleeping through the day and i feel like a ground hog.

and modest mouse was great

and there sure were a whole bunch of other bands butyou can read her to really hear about music, when she finally updates

because this music was/is pretty much her thing. i just wanted to go and sit in a car and fend off sleep and give in to sleep and see my friend david and hang out in hotels and run in a different city (7 miles approx, along the waterways of long beach) and just get out of town

It was so damn good to see david, and I wish i could see more of him.

i feel like i'm writing very formally because i'm naked in bed and the laptop is at a weird angle on my lap and i am planning to be asleep again in just a few more minutes.

and with all those indie rock kids everywhere (oh my fucking god, it was indie rock heaven? hell? it was too cool for school times a zillion) some i still managed to run into this guy and this guy at least 4 times throughout the weekend. randomly and unplanned!

the elliot smith tribute was pretty touching. i teared up at the final song. I only know one elliot smith song, but the tribute was touching and sad and yea.

waht else? oh i don't know or remember. i've got that "not enough sleep" headache from a weird weekend restwise and i'm going back to bed.

oh, long beach has a place that has teh most amazing brunch ever with smoked salmon and fresh salmona nd crab legs ande omelette stands and waffle stands and caviar and a sushi stand and bacon and unlimited champagne.

i'd move to long beach just to have that sunday brunch every week until i was roly poly and you had to push me down the street with a stick!
