go science!

well, there are good (mostly all good) and a few bad things about loft living

in the pro list:
beautiful!!!
the best bathroom ON THE PLANET. for reals.
an amazing kitchen
so much light, i can soak in it in any part of the place
oh the shelves to the heavens
roof deck!
have i mentioned the bathroom? the shower/bathtub is .. well, i've never taken as amazing a shower or bath as i have here.

on the con list:
oh all that light. so lovely, except at 6am when i can't hide from it when sleeping. i've taken to wearing an eye mask
not a lot of sound privacy. when hans pours cereal in the kitchen and i'm in bed, i hear it like we're in the same room together.
yea, that's probably it for the cons actually

but today i'm damn tired. there were landscapers outside at 6:30 am with leaf blowers. in what world is THAT ok?

weird thing that my husband does:
he gets naked for getting lucky. and i don't mean sex, i mean number two. he says it makes him feel free. somehow, i find this charming. but still weird.

godzilla's pupils are super dilated right now. usually this means he's about to jump on my head and bite my eyebrow.

I'm so tired of moving. we really onlly have one more day left, and it should be all fabulous. but then there's all the unpacking to do.
yea. whine whine. life isn't bad, actually.

haven't seen much of my friends lately, though.

science has taken a larger part in our life lately, with turkey basters and drugs that give me INSANE HOT FLASHES. oh the hot flashes. hates them.
