belly noises

my belly is making angry noises. i had popcorn for dinner. i shouldn't do that, and i don't very often.but every now and then i just have this mad crazy popcorn craving that i must fulfill .. and then i am no longer hungry for dinner food
i am absolutely in love with my soft fuzzy cloud pajamas.. i look like a simpsons sky... i look for excuses to be wearing them at non-pajama times.
we didn't get to the gym this weekend. maybe we'll try tomorrow.
but we spent a good 3 or 4 hours in the garage, paring down, throwing away, putting in a box to be sold. and then taking things out of cardboard and putting them into the plastic containers. (mold is bad)
then i took a bath with ginger pear tea and reread A Wind in The Door (actually, i'm not quite doneyet)
we've been on a reading jag lately... hours and hours of silence in the house as we'd both sit on the couch reading from dinner til bed. it's been great.
i want to go backpacking a few times before this summer is over. but it's already august. when will it happen?

next week i am going to DC for a wedding... i fly out friday afternoon and home monday night. a quick in and out.
i am prepared for it being disgustingly hot. but i like humid warmth, so maybe i'll be happy.

i had to throw away some clothes that had gotten moldy from water seeping into the garage , today. that was sad.

i think i'll start knitting again soon.

monk says our house is too small. i don't actually think so most of the time. but when i try to imagine finding a space to work on art projects.. i can't .. because, maybe he's right. it's just a little too small.

i need some karaoke, and soon.
