days off

i've had an ongoing tension headache this week.

wednesday i had a day off, so monk and i got up around 10 and headed down to G0*g l*e for lunch with a friend who works there. they are sure one fancy fancy place. and their lunch was yummy

then we went to stanford and i got introduced to monk's old school haunts and hopes and histories, and that was fun. it included a walk in the foothills and burritos and meeting a woman who cooked in one of the houses he lived in.
it was fun to see how excited he was to be there again, showing me things that meant something to him.
and we saw bunnies and egrets and baby ducks too! pictures to come later.

i'd like more middle of the week days off thanks.
