most perfect day ever
i work and pay rent . for days like this
for days in the sun. for napping with the bedroom door open onto the deck and sunlight and fresh air streaming over us in our big airy bed. for dinner on the patio in comfy patio chairs. chenin blanc and grilled lime/cumin/ginger tilapia. and grilled baby artichokes with a honey butter drizzle that exploded a little in the mouth with sweetsalt goodness. and grilled broccoli and a grass-stalking cat and the best boyfriend and the best sunny sweet jasmine smelling yard. friends from college-chaos-house days who i see once every fifteen million years in the morning in a thai temple, naps and yard and sun-freckled noses in the afternoon.
this is what life is all about, for me.
freakin happy, that's what i am.
