mm nice.

mendocino was lovely . foggy and chilly and cute.
saturday we went to glass beach and collected a ton of sea glass.. greens and blues and whites and ambers. ate smoked gouda and baguette and apple on the beach with a glass of red wine. (the b&b packed us a picnic backpack. very cute)
we spend the rest of the day in our cottage...napping on the huge perfect soft king sized bed with the best mattress, high count sheets, wonderful pillows. a fire in our little wood stove. napping , cuddling, talking. .. then went to an amazing dinner at a nearby restaurant. (mm good food. good champagne)... more sleepy time in our room with full bellies. .. firelght on the walls... firelit lovin...

frogs abound in mendocino. ribbit ribbit everywhere

more sleep than we possibly could need that night.. and after breakfast we headed to the woods and hiked somewhere around 7 miles
and on the drive home we stopped at 4 or 5 wineries (including roederer. mm champagne) and bought a few bottlse of wine... sunned and sipped.
now we have two bottles of wine and a bunch of seaglass as memoribilia
and more rest than is humanly possible.
