ski bunny

i wrote an entry last night and it doesn't seem to be here.
where did it go, i wonder?
it was all about how i've moved from confident greens or very slow blues, to almost normal on blues. almost. i still have to build up more speed and confidence.
but i did ok on every run i tried. i didn't whine or cry or get frustrated or scared. monk is very supportive and appreciative. but i do know if i whine he gets pretty annoyed. nobody likes a whiner.
and it was about how we drove through fog so thick the truck parted it and it closed around us behind. the sky ground and air around. white white white.
and it was about the snow falling so thick one could barely make out the shape of htings
and it was about driving home with lightning in the sky
and it was about sitting in the hottub and the sky breaking up into black patches of sky with stars, white clouds that were lit by city lights below...golden pinky orange.. but lit by the moon above ...so glowing white at the edges. magical sky.
and monk is still in the mountains til tomorrow night and i haven't slept along in a very long time. but once i got to sleep, i was ok. i just lay there for a long time..not sure what to do with my limbs and all that space.
i made do ok though
i'm very very sore today
we skiid and i cooked two dinners and we hottubbed and i did some java homework and they did board games and it was all a lovely weekend.
and now, here i am...back at work. wishing i were back in tahoe with the rest of them.
tonight i will clean the house and code some javascript ...
