wednesday the 8th

because i know monk is waiting:
last night for dinner i made rice pilaf, broccoli and for main course
i broiled tilapia (a white fish) drizzled with olive oil...with cumin, garlic salt, pepper, drizzled satsuma orange juice, a little lime syrup. and it turned out really really darn good, despite my having made it up as i went along. and monk says it was the best thing he'd eaten in months. yay.

i got caught in an obsession last night, and teased horribly. but i'm ok with that!

i have zucchini and bleu cheese soup, and a donut. shut up, i can have a donut if i wanto.

'zilla is doing well. very cute. although he sometimes thinks he's done pooping when in fact he's not and so it ends up outside his box and we're not big fans of this. so i think we'll cut back on his laxatives. (yes, my kitten needs laxatives . he spent a good portion of his early life all constipated and getting baby enemas) thus nobody was adopting him, but monk and i are ok with giving him a little extra love and attention because he's just the cutest darn playful cuddley guy.

i have been fringe sick for awhile while monk has been full on sick for forever. i stayed home yesterday and zill and i slept til noon. that did me some good.

also, i finished a scarf and i can finally mail it off.
