corndogs and reading

tuesday was my last day tutoring at the elementary school i was volunteering at.

my girls gave me giant construction paper cards (with things like cakes and super-dogs [complete with cape] and hearts all over them) and some origami roses and presents. and a little stuffed kitty

and they hugged me.

and i'm so happy i get to go back this coming tuesday to read out loud for National Read Out Loud Day!

i love that there are national days for just about anything. from reading out loud to corn dogs.
