birthday week

hello, anticrista...is it your time? i'm awful reactive this week. my back gets up at the smallest infraction.

my birthday was everything i wanted it to be. minus one detail, but that couldn't be help due to family obligations on the part of the detail.

there was a party with a DJ who perfectly fit the bill, clowns, movies projected on the ceiling (two silent movies and some clown porn!) . they were big hits.

booziness and danciness and hugginess.

the following day, no hangover! brunch with friends, opera in the park with other friends and then THE CIRCUS. putting politics on the shelf for a day. loving the clowns and elephants and daredevils.

it's weird to feel like a couple yet not really be a couple. yet not so weird.

there are still areas where i'm somehow unwilling to cross my own laid down lines, and until i do... i guess it is what it is.

but i like what it is, so this isn't a complaint.

cake at work today. birthdays really last all month if you do it right.
