scarlet fever

i believe i mentioned going to a six year olds birthday party.

except it's been postponed because

she has scarlet fever

mary ingalls went blind from scarlet fever

and it's such a medeival sounding 'disease'. ..i became quite terrified for my friend and her daughter.

it turns out it's just a low grade infection type thing and she'll be fine.

i'm going to accuse that 6 year old of being goth.

(she's going to be fine, don't look at me like that)
