absurdity

I seem to be more self contained. less pliant. less bendy.than i used to be.

i may stand firmer. but i've also gotten more rigid.

i think i've gotten used to alone.

who would have ever thought.

burnt sugar crust. but i'm no creme brulee.

(ha ha ha. shut up, self)

i had been walking with a slower step and when i got my music back, i realized i was because i stopped hearing my inner soundtrack.

this diary has a split personality. between the self pitying-emotional-boohoo self and the self that finds it all pretty god damn absurd.

i like absurd more.
