then and now

i spent a portion of time this afternoon. reading my past. the first 3 or 4 months of boogie.diaryland.com and

i'm not as soft.

and i'm not as fearful

and i'm not as sweet and raw and cutesy.

but i'm stronger.

and i'm a little more wry

and a little harder and more cynical.

but just as loving.

and i have diamond edges.

i could cut or shine depending.

(it's all a lie. i'm soft like cream cheese)
