so, last night i sang by myself for the first time.

because i realized "who knows The Police lyrics better than i do?"

nobody, that's who! nobody except Sting, stewart copeland, andy summers and gregory dustin evans my high school boyfriend.

so, there i was. on a stage. with a thneed around my neck. (YES A THNEED. and if you don't get that reference, too bad so sad). singing "just like the old man in that book by nabakov"

and i rocked socks.
