fear

i feel like i'm struggling my way into some amnesiac-land. some land that is void of memory. but i haven't learned anything. this way.

it's just pleasantly blank

but that might be why i feel like i'm forgetting something important.

because.

it's so important.

the thing that is sinking below the surface, waiting for a vulnerable naked moment, to slide up and grab me by the ankle.

like the deep sea monster i always feared.
